Several seasons in one run summed up conditions today at Halcombe. Winds and rain kicked in around half way into the Sealed Handciap event, with athletes having to battle headlong into it over the second half of the course. This course traditionally sees the 10km runners achieve a negative split as it is more uphill on the way out. Today it was 1-2 minutes slower coming back due to the winds.
