DESCRIPTION:This event is the Official Opening of Manawatu Wanganui Athletics cross country season. A great event to involve all ages in either a 4 person relay team or the 2 person walk teams. All clubs welcome\nVenue is Wanganui Harrier Clubrooms\, Victoria Park\, Wanganui \nProgramme of Events \n1:00pm – Registration Open – team captains obtain race bibs\n1.30pm – 2 x 2km Relay Walk – Male & Female\n– 1km scratch race for runners\n1.50pm –   4 x 2km Relay Run – Female\, Male\, Mixed \nmembers Get your names to our Club Captain\,  who will be making up the teams. All welcome – any age or ability – and including Walkers for a team or three in that section \nPlease bring a plate for afternoon tea \n
