The Mens sealed handicap race for the Elder Bros. Cup had many like myself (Rob) thinking “I’ve had a great run, I could be in with a win here”. And I didn’t even make the top 10 list!
Pete Turner and Matt Schipper had an epic battle throughout, resulting in Pete taking home the silverware and Matt being 5th on handicap.
Boys 7-13 year saw a deadheat on handicap between Reuben Duker and Connor Hills. The Girls handicap had some of our youngest runners put in an improved run, 1st to Eden Paterson, 2nd to Sarah Addenbrooke.
Other Sealed handicap winners were Karl Werner (colts) and Rachel Hannah (women)
